Resonant / Curve is an experimental wine label series developed to test how a traditionally conservative category such as wine packaging could be reinterpreted through a more contemporary and unconventional visual language. The project combines abstract 3D geometric forms, metallic surfaces, and an unusual colour palette for the sector, creating labels that move away from established winery aesthetics while still retaining a premium and object-like presence.

The names Resonant and Curve draw from the language of sound and audio, while the visual system is rooted in geometry, materiality, and spatial composition. This contrast was central to the research: bringing together the worlds of wine, abstract form, and sonic reference to explore whether they could coexist in a coherent packaging identity. The result is a set of atypical, visually experimental labels conceived as a study in tension between tradition and abstraction.

The typographic system also plays a key role in shaping the identity. Gronau, designed by Zetafonts, was used for Resonant; Noctis, also by Zetafonts, was chosen for Curve; and BlackerProVariable was used for the supporting information and secondary text. Together, these type choices reinforce the balance between distinctiveness, elegance, and experimentation.
